John Angel moved to The High Country from Knoxville, Tennessee in the early 80’s. A graduate of The University of Tennessee, John worked at Carson Newman College, Lincoln Memorial University and Lees McRae College before entering the field of Real Estate. John began his real estate career with The Sterling Company in 1995 and is one of the company’s longest standing agents. John is married to Roma Bowen Angel, The Associate Dean in the College of Education at Appalachian State University
